​Dr. Dahl is a clinically trained forensic psychologist based in Orange County, California. She's a passionate advocate for justice. She has dedicated her career to advancing forensic psychology. Dr. Dahl has a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. She is also board-certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology. For over 20 years, she has provided forensic evaluations for criminal and civil cases.

In 2006, she established Orange County Forensics, a private practice that specializes in psychological evaluations of adults involved in the criminal justice system. She has expertise in adult criminal psychology and is retained by attorneys, courts, and various governmental agencies. Dr. Dahl has been qualified as an expert in the area of forensic psychology in state and federal jurisdictions, where she has testified for both the prosecution and the defense. She founded Orange County Forensics, Inc. to offer reliable, expert forensic services with a personal touch. Dr. Dahl bases her approach on research, ethics, accuracy, and a desire to learn. Dr. Dahl is one of a select few psychologists nationwide who are board-certified in forensic psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). She serves on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Forensic Psychology and participates in the examination of candidates who wish to become board-certified in forensic psychology. Dr. Dahl is credentialed as a Certified Threat Manager by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.​ She is licensed to practice in California. Her areas of expertise are severe mental illness, criminal responsibility and sanity, filicide, capital sentencing mitigation, risk assessment, threat assessment, and threat management. In addition to evaluations, she also provides attorney consultation services (e.g., cross-examination preparation, interpretation of assessment data, etc.). ​
